At Merrifield Farm we rear free range Devonshire Red chicken and work the land in a way that's sympathetic to wildlife. Headland margins have been left uncultivated, ponds dug, marshes preserved and many trees planted. This is an account of wildlife happenings and observations as we go about our daily tasks.
